Five Star Bank announced the appointment of Cheryl Petrie of Delevan to branch manager and assistant vice president of the Five Star Bank Yorkshire branch.

As branch manager and assistant vice president, Petrie is responsible for running daily branch operations, fostering new and existing business opportunities, developing client relationships, increasing branch assets, seeking new clients and enhancing the bank’s visibility through community affairs.

“Cheryl has been a major part of our success at the Five Star Bank Yorkshire branch,” said Peter G. Humphrey, president and CEO of Five Star Bank. “Her years of experience working with Five Star make her a great fit to carry out the goals of our organization.”

Petrie has nearly 10 years of banking experience with Five Star Bank. She most recently held the position of assistant branch manager at the Five Star Bank’s Yorkshire branch and also gained experience as a customer service representative.

Petrie is an alumna of the Cattaraugus County Leadership Class of 2010. A mother of three, Petrie is the vice president of the Arcade Area Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Arcade Ladies Auxiliary.
