Gilda’s Club would like to invite all bakers to put on their creative hats, and whip up delightful and original concoctions out of gingerbread, candy, and frosting.

The Gingerbread, Gifts, Glitz, at Gilda’s Club event is a large competition that will also feature a silent auction, and is bound to fill you with holiday joy.

Bakers of all skill levels are invited to participate, for the opportunity to benefit Gilda’s Club Western New York, a support men, women, and teens touched by cancer.

“We are amazed every year at the level of creativity these student, amateur, and professional bakers display in their creations,” said Terri Campbell, Gilda’s Club board member and event chair. “We expect to see entries this year celebrating Western New York’s historic landmarks as well as our enormously popular garden walks.”

There will be a cocktail party on Dec. 1, where the winners will be announced and the silent auction will begin.
The silent auction will continue from 5 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 2. and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 4, all at Gilda’s Club, 1140 Delaware Ave. For complete details and official rules, call 332-5900 ext. 203 or visit www.gildasclubwny.org.
