LEAF THE HOUSEWORK AND GO HAVE SOME FUN!

It is officially fall! The leaves are falling, transforming our lawns from green to a sea of red and yellow. Football flags are flying, and pumpkin stands seem to be popping up at the blink of an eye.

We are so fortunate to have so many treasures throughout WNY to enjoy this time of year; especially on the weekends. So bundle up, and get out and enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes this great area has to offer.

Arcade and Attica Railroad Fall Foliage Tours – Enjoy all mother nature has to offer as you travel through Wyoming County on this two-hour excursion.

Pumpkinville – If you haven't been to Pumpkinville you don't know what you are missing! Not just for the kids! Corn cannons, pumpkin donuts, petting zoo, pony rides and not to mention pick your own pumpkins!!!

Howl-O-Ween Hayrides at the Buffalo Zoo - There is something for every boy and "ghoul" at this friendly, not frightful event! From 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., everyone will enjoy treat stations, hayrides, games, apple cider and donuts. Children are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costume and participate in our costume parade!

Spraugues Maple Farm – In October, weather permitting, they offer wagon rides to the Sugar House where hot mulled cider and fresh maple donuts will warm you right up! You can also visit the Gift Shop and Nature Center. Syrup production is done for the season, but there is still lots to do! www.spraguesmaplefarms.com

Becker Farms – What a great way to celebrate the season! Every Sat & Sunday during October, the Farm hosts its Annual Pumpkin Fiesta. Pig races, pony rides for the kids; and the haunted hay ride for adults. While you are there don't forget to pick your own in-season fruit! (PS: They also have a Vineyard!) www.beckerfarms.com
