The decision is..

In about 13 short days, it will be 5 months away from the wedding. I feel like I have a really good handle on everything. As you know I have had my wedding dress, shoes, the wedding party is picked, the venue is all set, we are registered for gifts, shower venue has been taken care of, and flowers have been discussed. Now it’s pretty much the minor things that still need to be done.

One of the things I was finally able to finalize the bridesmaid dresses. After two trips and a few disagreements, I finally made a decision of what I

want the girls to wear. I always knew what colors I wanted, but when it came to dresses all I knew was I wanted them short and teal. After my first trip to Alfred Angelo, I quickly learned that having too many styles would look a bit chaotic.

So after going through style after style of dress, I started to figure out what it was I envisioned. I finally came up with my decision and couldn’t be

happier with how the girls are going to look. The girls (+1 more) in red, will have those dresses in teal and the girl in purple will wear that dress in teal with the bow in fuchsia.   Each one of these steps I have taken just gets me more excited for this wedding.

I also registered the guys at Tuxedo Junction.  Now the next steps for me are going back to the floral shop to talk more about the flowers I’d like. I also am going to need to get my invitations printed and fill out my shower invitations. Then it will be primarily smaller things like candy for the centerpieces, food for the shower, decorations for the shower, etc. So until next time!
